I've been to a few great lobster feasts in the BVI but it's been years. We will be heading to the Wonky Dog on Anegada and give it a shot there but what is your FAV??? We are willing to try more than one--- and thanks for your input <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Clapping.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Clapping.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Clapping.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Clapping.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Clapping.gif" alt="" />

Wow…I must admit, I have a hard time selecting a favorite…..I've probably enjoyed at least 25 lobster dinners over the past 10 years of visiting the BVI's….they are all great! Sorry!

Sidney's is a pleasure, moist steamed lobster with self service bar and hugs from Strawberry and her family. We had a great meal with good value in January. Our second place would be Neptune's. Lunch lobster at Big Bamboo is pretty darn good.

Cheers, RickG

Potters for traditional Anegada preparation. Wonky Dog for more gourmet options!

We've had 2 in the last six months.
Sydney's was delicious!
Anegada Reef Hotel - blah. Overpriced and not as good as Sydney's.

Cynthia in Little Harbor....Harris' has my vote (but it has been a while since I've been there...but it is still very memorable.)

I have to vote for Harris's at Little Harbor. 3 weeks and I'll be there again.

What about Corsairs on JVD? I've read that there have been some changes since we were there in 2013.

If dining at Corsairs double check their prices ..they have gone up a lot recently..plus its always good to check lobster prices before you order..a friend got a $100 bill for a medium size lobster on Tortola recently..I am not a big lobster fan but had an amazing meal at The Wonky Dog..

If you go to Harris', make sure Cynthia isn't off that day. Just sayin'.

Wonky Dog's food is incredible and a great experience.

This could be taken a few different ways but in my simple mind I totally agree from the standpoint that she is such a sweetheart and makes the place. Much like Foxy or Ivan or at the Soggy Dollar you can take your pic with Shaneek, Cindy, Mic ..etc. The list goes on and on with GREAT FOLKS and I know I am leaving many out of this list. And of course my favs are Nick and Monica at Leverick (love those two for many reasons). I just love the people I've met there (both TTOL and locals) and that is what keeps me coming back. To bring it back on topic, I've only had one disappointing lobster dinner and that was April 2013 at Corsairs and from what I understand they have changed a lot of what and how they do things and I would be willing to go back....again...because of the people!

Abe's on JVD or Myett's on Tortola.

How does one post a picture within a post, I must learn this. Being the foodie that I am, I have pictures of said lobster dinners! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/dine.gif" alt="" />

Abe's by the Sea for sure at Little Harbor JVD. Very casual, self serve bar...you log your own drinks in a notebook, easy dingy dock, decent moorings, very scenic, party lights at night, quick response for ship to shore reservations, small general store for re-provisioning the staples and cocktails. Don't go here if your looking for 5-star service. Abe's is an incredibly comfortable setting for functional cruisers. Oh yeah, the Lobsters were excellent!!! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/hungry.gif" alt="" />

Things have changed over the years but as a villa owner in Leverick Bay for 12 years, the lobster at Big Bamboo has always been outstanding.
